Christian Wasini is an educator and entrepreneur from Bayelsa, Nigeria. He's an Accountant, a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst, a Data Analyst and an Educationist. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt as well as a Professional Diploma in Education from Sikiru Adetonal College of Education, Science and Technology Ajose-Omu Ogun State, both in Nigeria.
Over the last fifteen years, he has served in different roles including Classroom Teacher, Vice Principal, Administrative Officer, Sales Executive, and General Manager. His experience cuts across government institutions, NGOs, for-profit enterprises, and faith-based organizations...
Over the years, he has led and directed teams of different sizes and configurations. He has also initiated and participated in several projects.
Christian is a serial entrepreneur. He has founded several startups in the agro and food production industries. He currently runs Rigzalon Food Enterprise, a food production business in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria, which specializes in producing organic foods for consumers within the region.
My first hand experiences working in different teams informed my decision to set up this organisation. I've been part of dysfunctional teams, highly motivated and productive teams and everything in between. I have first hand experience of poor leadership and excellent leadership.
I've suffered unexplainable torture at the hands of morally debased, incompetent and ineffective leaders and I've been one myself. I've also had the bliss of working with and leading alongside competent and effective leaders. The difference is like the difference between night and day.
Today, I can discern when a group is poorly led and when they're well led. I can decipher competent and incompetent leaders instinctively. Most importantly, I know the ingredients that makes for effective leadership and what constitutes ineffective leadership. I know how to build or lead effective teams and how leaders end up creating unmotivated and dysfunctional teams.
